Regardless of which structure you choose, a minimal, non-negotiable setup checklist before your first sale:

  1. A dedicated email address for the business (not your personal one) — needed for Module 8’s Google Business Profile and Module 9’s email automation.
  2. A separate way to track money in/out, even if it’s just a simple spreadsheet at first — mixing personal and business money is the single most common reason new sellers lose track of whether they’re actually profitable.
  3. A clear return/refund policy written down before you need it — deciding this reactively, mid-dispute, leads to inconsistent decisions that damage trust.
  4. If going the registered-business route: your registration certificate/number, which most payment processors and wholesale suppliers will ask you to provide during their own approval process.
